Juan Camilo Chaves Zuluaga, Latin America-USA President

Juan Camilo Chaves Zuluaga has been Pluxee’s Latin America-USA President since 2019 and a member of the Group Leadership Team since 2015.

Juan Camilo began his career in finance and production planning with the Editorial Norma publishing group in Colombia. He joined Sodexo Benefits & Reward Services in 1994 when the activity launched in Colombia, rising to Country CEO in 1998. In 2004, he was named Country CEO for Mexico, where he oversaw strong profitable growth.

In 2008, Juan Camilo returned to Bogotá to manage the Group’s On-Site Services activity involving 20,000 employees across Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, and Argentina. For the next 10 years, he deployed a robust offer of integrated facility management services to improve the efficiency of Group clients’ assets and processes.

In 2015, Juan Camilo joined the Group Leadership Team and became Latin America President of Benefits & Rewards Services, keeping a double hat as Director of On-Site Services until taking over the USA market in 2019.

As Latin America-USA President, Juan Camilo has overseen dynamic growth in all 9 countries within his scope, and steers the continuous expansion of Pluxee’s digital benefits, payment, and recognition offers for large accounts and SMEs alike.

Juan Camilo graduated with a BA in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and an MA in Finance from Universidad EAFIT, both in Colombia. He also holds a BBA from University of California, Berkeley. A citizen of Colombia, Spain, and Mexico, Juan Camilo speaks Spanish and English.
